Dr. Nicole Clark, PT, DPT, ITPT, OS Clinician is a sports- residency trained clinician, who is a native of Baltimore, MD. She received her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from George Mason University, where she was also an integral member of the Division 1 soccer team. She played semi-professionally in the WPSL for 4 years with the ASA Chesapeake Charge, and was a member of 2011 and 2013 Eastern Conference Finals teams, and the 2014 Eastern Conference Semi-Finalist team.
Dr. Clark received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Belmont University. She spent time as a physical therapy student interning as EXOS, where she worked with nationally ranked collegiate, elite, and professional athletes, including MLB, NFL, USAG, MMA, WPS, and NBA. Following PT school, Dr. Clark went on to complete a sports residency at St. Francis University, obtaining Division 1 experience with field management and in the clinic. She gained speciality knowledge of concussion management with youth, high school, and D1 athletes, as well as obtained certification as an Impact Trained Physical Therapist.
With opportunities working with athletes at a variety of levels as both a strength/ performance coach and physical therapist; Dr. Clark, provides comprehensive and innovative treatment for injury prevention and safe return to sport. Her experience as a high-level athlete, allows her to relate to patients with a strong understanding of sports demands and expectations, and lends an insightful eye to sport-specific movements for biomechanical analysis and intervention. She specialize in pairing manual therapy interventions with injury, athlete, and sports specific exercises for improvement in overall performance and resiliency for return to competition. Beyond True Sports, Nicole enjoy strength training, trail running, hiking, cheering for local sports teams, and adventuring with her dog, Brooke.
