Kevin Griffith’s passion for physical therapy was shaped by his own experiences as a soccer and lacrosse player, where he underwent rehabilitation for multiple sports-related injuries in high school and college. Through these experiences, he found it empowering that athletes could return to their previous functional levels—and often surpass them—with the right guidance and corrective exercise progression. This realization inspired him to pursue a career in physical therapy, blending rehabilitation with performance training.
Kevin earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Lebanon Valley College in 2020. Prior to that, he achieved his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification in 2018, reinforcing his expertise in athlete development and performance training. In 2022, he further expanded his skill set by becoming certified in Functional Dry Needling (FDN).
Over the past five years, Kevin has worked in outpatient orthopedics, treating a diverse population ranging from total joint replacement patients to individuals recovering from surgical and non-surgical sports injuries and weightlifting-related conditions. His experience also includes working in a gym setting, where he provided care for recreational and professional bodybuilders, CrossFit athletes, and powerlifters. This wide-ranging background has given him a deep understanding of injury management, recovery, and sports-specific performance training.
Kevin specializes in working with hockey, soccer, and lacrosse athletes, as well as recreational and competitive weightlifters. His approach integrates evidence-based rehabilitation techniques with strength and conditioning principles, ensuring that his patients not only recover but return stronger and more resilient.
As a dedicated member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), Kevin actively attends coaching and strength training workshops, staying up to date on the latest advancements in sports performance, injury prevention, and rehabilitation. He continuously reviews the newest literature in strength and conditioning to enhance his treatment strategies for athletes of all levels.
Kevin’s expertise in rehabilitation, strength training, and return-to-sport programming allows him to create individualized treatment plans that help athletes optimize performance and prevent future injuries. His passion lies in guiding athletes and active individuals back to doing what they love—stronger, healthier, and more prepared than before.
