Megan McGloin’s passion for physical therapy stems from her lifelong involvement in sports and fitness. Originally from Fairfax Station, Virginia, Megan competed in cheerleading and diving throughout her youth, later developing a strong interest in weightlifting and CrossFit during her high school years. Witnessing firsthand the transformative impact of exercise on physical well-being and performance, she was inspired to pursue a career in physical therapy to help athletes optimize movement, prevent injuries, and return to the activities they love.
Megan attended James Madison University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences in 2022. She went on to obtain her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Moravian University in 2024. Her academic journey emphasized evidence-based rehabilitation and sports performance, equipping her with the tools to effectively treat a wide range of athletes.
Megan’s professional journey with True Sports Physical Therapy began in August 2024, when she completed her final clinical rotation. This experience reinforced her passion for working with athletes, solidifying her desire to specialize in sports rehabilitation. She has since become involved in launching the LoPo Run Club, a collaboration between True Sports and SOBO Strength, which has allowed her to connect with Baltimore’s athletic community and promote injury prevention through structured training programs.
