Mikaela Meyer’s journey to physical therapy was shaped by her personal experiences as a Division 1 collegiate gymnast at Utah State University. Her own sports injuries gave her a firsthand understanding of the physical and emotional challenges that athletes face during recovery. These experiences fueled her passion for helping others overcome injuries and achieve their peak performance, inspiring her to pursue a career in physical therapy.
Mikaela will earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Saint Francis University in May 2024. Her education has been complemented by clinical rotations in high-paced sports environments, where she gained hands-on experience working with athletes and addressing a wide range of sports-related injuries. This exposure honed her skills in providing evidence-based care tailored to the unique needs of athletes.
