Sam Jankowski’s passion for physical therapy stems from a lifelong involvement in sports and fitness. As a collegiate soccer player at Saint Francis University and West Chester University, and later as a Pro-Amateur soccer player in Lancaster, PA, Sam experienced firsthand the challenges of sports-related injuries. After tearing his ACL during his playing career, he gained a unique perspective on physical therapy, experiencing its transformative power as a patient. This pivotal experience inspired his career path and deepened his understanding of sports injuries and rehabilitation.
Sam earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Tufts University School of Medicine in 2023. Before and during PT school, Sam had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of athletes, including powerlifters, strongmen, bodybuilders, and team sport athletes. This hands-on experience allowed him to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical application, honing his skills in real-world clinical settings.
Sam’s areas of specialization include working with strength-based athletes, such as powerlifters and bodybuilders, as well as focusing on post-operative ACL rehabilitation. His personal experience with ACL injury recovery gives him a unique empathy and insight into the physical and mental challenges his patients face, enabling him to tailor treatment plans that address their individual goals.
Sam’s journey in physical therapy, marked by extensive education and professional and personal experiences, has equipped him with the expertise to guide his patients to recovery and beyond.
