Dr. Jenny DiNizio

Jennifer DiNizio's foray into the field of physical therapy was inspired by her personal experiences as a competitive gymnast, where she encountered her fair share of ankle injuries. It was through these injuries and the subsequent exposure to physical therapy that Jennifer developed an interest in the profession, ultimately leading her to pursue a career in this field.

Jennifer's educational journey includes graduating from Rutgers University in 2015 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT). Her commitment to this path was solidified by her continuous work in outpatient orthopedics and sports physical therapy following her graduation. This experience has provided her with a deep understanding of the needs and challenges associated with sports-related injuries and rehabilitation.

In addition to her DPT, Jennifer has further expanded her expertise through additional certifications. She is certified in dry needling, a technique often used in the management of musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction. Jennifer also holds a CrossFit Level 1 (CF-L1) certification, which showcases her interest and competence in strength and conditioning. Additionally, her role as a certified Pregnancy and Postpartum Athleticism (P&PA) coach reflects her dedication to women's health, particularly in the context of athletic pursuits during and after pregnancy.

Over the years, Jennifer's passion for physical therapy has evolved, leading her to specialize in women's health. Her current focus includes pelvic floor therapy and pregnancy/postpartum physical therapy. This area of specialization demonstrates her commitment to addressing the unique physical needs and challenges faced by women, especially during pivotal life stages such as pregnancy and postpartum.
