Dr. Rayce Houser

PT, DPT

Rayce Houser's career in physical therapy is characterized by a strong focus on ACL rehabilitation and the integration of strength and conditioning principles within the rehab setting. This specific focus stems from his comprehensive educational and professional background, as well as his passion for combining traditional physical therapy with strength training methodologies.

Rayce achieved his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2021 from Pacific University, a significant milestone that laid the foundation for his specialization in physical therapy. He further advanced his expertise by completing an Orthopedic Residency at the University of Maryland in 2022. In 2023, he attained the distinction of becoming a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, an achievement that underscores his commitment to excellence in orthopedic physical therapy.

Prior to and concurrently with his academic pursuits, Rayce amassed extensive experience as a strength and conditioning coach. He spent 6 years working with Pacific University's baseball and softball teams, where he honed his skills in athlete training and rehabilitation. Recently, he embarked on a new role as the strength and conditioning coach for both Eastern Oregon University and Southwestern Oregon Community College, expanding his impact in the athletic community.

Since joining True Sports PT over a year ago, Rayce has continued to apply his expertise in ACL and shoulder rehab, as well as his knowledge of strength and conditioning principles within the rehabilitation setting. His approach to therapy involves a blend of orthopedic knowledge and strength training techniques, ensuring a well-rounded and effective rehabilitation process for his clients.

Rayce's professional affiliations include being a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) since 2021 and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) since 2016. His involvement in these organizations demonstrates his dedication to staying current with the latest developments and best practices in both physical therapy and strength conditioning.
